Kevin Martin es un reputado artista británico quien ha trabajado bajo varios seudónimos como Techno Animal, GOD, ICE en las corrientes industrial, aislacionista, dub, entre otros géneros.
“Sirens” que incluye 14 pistas refleja la difícil situación familiar que tuvo Kevin Martin y de allí las recurrentes sirenas (“Alarms”) que se escuchan en varios de las piezas. El sonido es turbulento y oscuro. Las densas y brumosas atmósferas describen son el marco que refleja una situación agobiante (“Too Much”), junto al palpitante latido del corazón que se hace difícil contener.
En este disco también se aprecian los efectos aislacionistas y alienantes, sin duda que influenciados por el relato de esta historia. Capas distorsionadas de sonido y colchones ambientales sólo dejan entrever las vacías y amargas emociones (“Kangaroo Care”) que pudo sentir Kevin Martin, aunque se aprecia que hay un halo de luz al final del camino.
Sin embargo, volvemos a un mundo de soledad que se expresa en “Necrosis” que, con su carácter expansivo, se despliega por todo el espacio de incertidumbre, donde todavía no hay respuestas.
Finalmente con “A Bright Future” aparece la esperanza y un entorno más apacible. Un álbum que muestra toda la maestría de Martin para expresar un lenguaje de intensas emociones.

Kevin Martin is a renowned British artist who has display several projects such as Techno Animal, GOD, ICE in the industrial, isolationist, dub, among other genres.
"Sirens" which consist in 14 tracks reflects the difficult family situation that Kevin Martin had and hence the recurring sirens ("Alarms") heard in the album. The sound is turbulent and dark. The dense and foggy atmospheres described, are the framework that reflects an overwhelming situation (“Too Much”), next to the throbbing heartbeat wich is difficult to contain.
In this album the isolationist and alienating effects are also appreciated, undoubtedly influenced by the background of this story. Distorted layers of sound and ambience mattresses only reveal the empty and bitter emotions (“Kangaroo Care”) that Kevin Martin could feel, although it is appreciated that there is a halo of light at the end of the road.
However, we return to a world of loneliness expressed on "Necrosis" which, with its expansive nature, unfurls throughout the space of uncertainty, where there are still no answers.
Finally with "A Bright Future" appears hope and a more peaceful environment. An album that shows all Martin's full skills to express a language of intense emotions.
