Después de “Enter The Fire” su primer disco para Stroboscopic Artefacts, Alessandro Adriani, productor y DJ italiano afincado en Berlín, nos deleita con el EP “Embryo”, antesala de su LP “Morphic Dreams” editados en abril y mayo, respectivamente.
“Embryo EP” de cuatro temas comienza con el oscuro “Elapsed Emptiness” de líneas ambientales. Los otros tres cortes deslizan viñetas ácidas con ritmos hipnóticos sobre la base de la vertiente techno. Es notable por cierto el track “Aria (New Beat Version)” con su caja de ritmos Roland, dándole un movimiento envolvente e incesante, especial para dejarse llevar por los movimientos controlados del cuerpo de un lado para otro.
Ahora nos adentramos al LP “Morphic Dreams” que comienza con “The Tropical Year”, una pieza con un carácer austero, para luego dejarnos influir por el influjo del disco, en clave Giorgio Moroder. “Storm Trees” sigue con su apasionante camino y el viaje continua con un ritmo incesante y pegadizo.
“Dust / Mist (feat. Simon Crab)” es un suave house que Adriani creo junto a Simon Crab, ex miembro de la banda industrial-experimental del Reino Unido de los años 80, Bourbonese Qualk. Digamos que pone la cuota diferente en este álbum. Así también ocurre con “Casting The Runes” con sus baños de ambient, junto a los chasquidos alados que le dan un aire embrujado. A esta altura, este disco ya ofrece facetas diferentes e interesantes que lo hacen destacarse en su propio mérito. Como ocurre en “Hors De Combat” con sus ritmos electro y viñetas ácidas de los teclados.
“Things About To Disappear” y sus arpeggios sintéticos muestran una faceta cercano a la Kosmiche Musik. Y para finalizar, “Make Words Split And Crack” con sus temblorosas notas de teclados dejan un halo de misterio en este disco que ha sido hecho con toda prolijidad por alguien que sabe hacer muy bien su oficio.

After "Enter The Fire" his first album for Stroboscopic Artefacts, Alessandro Adriani, Italian producer and DJ based in Berlin, delights us with the "Embryo EP", prelude to his "Morphic Dreams" LP released in April and May, respectively.
"Embryo EP" of four tracks begins with a dark "Elapsed Emptiness" of ambient lines. The other three cuts slide acidic vignettes with hypnotic rhythms on the base of the techno slope. The track "Aria (New Beat Version)" with the Roland drum machine is remarkable indeed, giving an immersive and incessant movement, special to be carried away by the controlled movements of the body from one place to another.
Now we go to the "Morphic Dreams" LP that starts with "The Tropical Year", a piece with an austere character, to be influenced by disco in a Giorgio Moroderesque style. “Storm Trees” follows the same amazing path and the journey continues with an incessant and catchy rhythm.
"Dust / Mist (feat Simon Crab)" is a soft House that Adriani created alongwith Simon Crab, a former member of the industrial-experimental British band of the 80s, Bourbonese Qualk. Let's say that this track puts the different quota on this album. It is is also the case with "Casting The Runes" with its ambient washes, next to the winged clicks that give it a haunted air. At this point, this album already offers different and interesting facets that make it stand out in its own merit. As on "Hors De Combat" with its electro rhythms and acidic keyboards vignettes.
"Things About To Disappear" and its synthetic arpeggios show a facet close to the Kosmiche Musik. And finally, "Make Words Split And Crack" with its trembling notes of keyboards leave a halo of mystery in this album that has been done with all the care by someone who knows how to do his job very well.
