Our protagonist belongs to what David Keenan coined as England's Hidden Reverse (Death In June, Sol Invictus, Karl Blake, among others) in his book of the same name. Former member of Coil and Spiritualized. Member of UUUU (along with members of Wire and Vanishing Twin), as well as collaborated with Massimo Pupillo (of Zu) as URUK. "Practical Electronics with Thighpaulsandra" is his eighth album in which he brings together pop, bizarre narrative and abstract electronica that unfolds in four songs. "Brown Pillows" shows synthesizer twisted sounds, throbbing bass and a torn voice. "Hamza" continues this sordid narrative and spooky atmosphere. "Helen Is Screaming" contains processed voices, diverse recordings and noises that were such that Helen, standing in the kitchen experiences strange sensations. A story taken from Thighpaulsandra’s outlandish world. "The Goat Owl" has a more rhythmic side and a strong electro pop, along with abrasive and shocking sounds. A dying and dark song that is unveiled as a unique, atonal and eclectic proposal.
