Michel Leroy es un músico experimental y filósofo chileno quien actualmente reside en la Serena, Chile. Leroy tiene una trayectoria de 19 años, trabajando bajo su propio nombre o con el seudónimo de Thanatoloop, y como miembro de la banda Un Festín Sagital. Ha colaborado con Edward Ka Spel de Legendary Pink Dots en el proyecto Richter Scale. Es fundador del sello y estudio Templo Sagital que ha publicado a Ka Spel, Nadja y Thisquietarmy, entre otros músicos y grupos.

Este álbum arranca con “Intro: Tara II”, construido a base de sintetizadores que despliegan una pieza ambiental con tintes oscuros y envolventes. En un estilo distinto, cargado a la dark-wave es “Es Real” en el que asoma la voz de Leroy, tan grave como sentida, donde los sintes de apropian de bellas melodías, retazos de ruidos y pulsos electrónicos. Esta canción cuenta con la poesía recitada de Carolina Moreno que devela sombrías palabras. “Vertigo”, incluye otros registros con su voz: voz ancha y elevada, además de una guitarra eléctrica con atisbos a la psicodelia. “La Demencia” acercamientos a lo industrial por su percusión con un sutil sonido metálico. “La Brisa” tiene un aire romántico, quizás la canción más accesible de todo el álbum. “Fé Feliz” que cierra este disco, flirtea con beats techno-industriales que marcan un ritmo pesado y contundente.

Michel Leroy muestra en este disco su versatilidad para navegar por distintos estilos musicales.

Michel Leroy is a Chilean experimental musician and philosopher who currently is based in La Serena, Chile. Leroy has a 19-year career, working under his own name, with the moniker of Thanatoloop and as a member of the band Un Festín Sagital. He has collaborated with Edward Ka Spel of Legendary Pink Dots on the Richter Scale project. Founder of the Templo Sagital imprint and studio with a roster including Ka Spel, Nadja and Thisquietarmy, among other musicians and bands.

This album starts with “Intro: Tara II,” built on the basis of synthesizers that display an ambient piece with dark and enveloping overtones. In a different style, loaded with dark-wave is “Es Real” in which Leroy's voice comes up, both deep and heartfelt, where the synths appropriate beautiful melodies, snippets of noise and electronic pulses and which has Carolina Moreno’s recited poetry that reveals gloomy words. “Vertigo” includes other registers of his voice: wide and raised, as well as an electric guitar with hints to psychedelia. “La Demencia” has an industrial air due to its percussion with a subtle metallic sound. “La Brisa” feels romantic, perhaps the most accessible song of the album. “Fé Feliz” that closes this cassette flirts with techno-industrial beats that mark a heavy and forceful rhythm.
