“Pozgarria da” fue comisionada por el Ensemble 0, Scène nationale du Sud-Aquitain, Institut Culturel Basque y el Fonds de dotation Culture: Kultura para conmemorar el 30 aniversario del Instituto Cultural Vasco.

En "Pozgarria da" Klanac, oriundo de Montreal, participa en voz, flauta, instrumentos medievales, órgano, gamelan y percusiones. 

Para este disco Klanac se acercó a la obra literaria del padre vizcaíno Bitoriano Gandiaga y escogió cuatro poemas para componer la música. Por su parte, Stephane Garin, co-fundador de Ensemble 0, se ofreció a componer una pieza para voz, instrumentos medievales y gamelán. También participaron otros músicos del ensamble, agregando instrumentos medievales y el órgano. 

"Pozgarria da" combina música clásica y minimalista. Los poemas son cantados en lengua vasca, siendo la columna vertebral de este disco. Así también su carácter ceremonial, como si fuera música religiosa. En este ambiente de parsimonia se evidencia cuando las notas de los órganos se elevan a lo más alto con sus sublimes melodías, los tañidos de las campanas y las sinuosas flautas.

Petar Klanac & Ensemble 0 nos presenta una música que sobrecoge por su sobriedad e intimidad.

“Pozgarria da” was commissioned by Ensemble 0, Scène nationale du Sud-Aquitain, Institut Culturel Basque and the Fonds de dotation Culture: Kultura to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Basque Cultural Institute.

In "Pozgarria da" Klanac, from Montreal, participates in voice, flute, medieval instruments, organ, gamelan and percussion.

For this album, Klanac approached the literary work of Bitoriano Gandiaga, a Biscayan father, and chose four poems to compose the music. For his part, Stephane Garin, co-founder of Ensemble 0, offered Klanac to compose a piece for voice, medieval instruments and gamelan. Other musicians from the ensemble also participated, adding medieval instruments and the organ.

"Pozgarria da" combines classical and minimalist music. The poems are sung in the Basque language, being the backbone of this album. Furthermore its ceremonial character, as if it were religious music. In this atmosphere of parsimony it is evident when the notes of the organs rise to the top with their sublime melodies, the bells sounds and the sinuous flutes.

Petar Klanac & Ensemble 0 presents us a touching music due to its sobriety and intimacy.
