Se hace referencia del pianista, cantante y multiinstrumentista alemán Liam Mour, como el protegido del renombrado pianista germano Nils Frahm. 

Luego de componer la banda sonora original para una película, el reciente 28 de enero el sello Ode To Youth editó su segundo sencillo “Holding Hands” que contiene dos canciones de su tercer y próximo EP “Above” que se publica el próximo 1ro. de abril. En su interés de convertirse en productor estableció su estudio en la famoso campus de radiodifusión Funkhaus de Berlín.

La música de Mour teje una atmósfera en donde se aprecian formas orquestadas y suaves pulsaciones rítmicas y texturas electrónicas, en lo que se conoce como Neo-Clásico, en la línea de lo que hace el propio Nils Frahm o Niklas Paschburg.

“Above” impulsado por un bass-drum se eleva con las notas celestiales del sintetizador, creando un ambiente ensoñador. “Holding Hands” le recuerda a Mour, en relación a estos tiempo de pandemia, acerca de la importancia del contacto físico y el afecto en la interacción humana más básica“. Esta pieza se basa en la percusión de xilófonos, acompañado de guitarra acústica, junto a un apacible beat y sintetizadores. Mour despliega un ambiente envolvente de líneas melódicas y una justa dosis rítmica.

German pianist, singer and multi-instrumentalist Liam Mour is referred to as the protégé of renowned German pianist Nils Frahm.

After composing the original soundtrack for a movie, on January 28 the Ode To Youth label released his second single “Holding Hands” which contains two songs from his third EP “Above” coming out April 1st. In his interest to become a producer he established his own studio at the renowned Funkhaus broadcasting campus in Berlin.

Mour's music weaves an atmosphere where orchestrated forms and soft rhythmic pulsations and electronic textures are appreciated, in what is known as Neo-Classical, in the vein of Nils Frahm or Niklas Paschburg.

Bass-drum-driven “Above” soars with heavenly synth notes, creating a dreamy ambience. “Holding Hands” reminds Mour, in relation to pandemic times, about the importance of physical contact and affection in the most basic human interaction“. This piece is based on the percussion of xylophones, accompanied by acoustic guitar, along with a gentle beat and synthesizers. Mour displays an enveloping environment of melodic lines and a fair dose of rhythm.
