Desde 2005, el alemán Wurde Wolfgang Röttger bajo el alias de Morgen Wurder nos ha deleitado con su música hipnótica a través de pasajes ambient, incrustaciones de folk y formas neo clásicas, a través de seis álbumes editados en Off Rec., Time Released Sound y Frozen Light.

Röttger junto Christian Schmidt aka Tis, músico electrónico y productor - quien estuvo a cargo de los beats y arreglos de las atmósferas-, realizan su segunda colaboración para el EP “Deutet”, presentando al trompetista, compositor e improvisador japonés Tetsuroh Konishi. 

En esta oportunidad el sello de Berlín Jazz-Tech saca una nuevo disco entrega, invitándonos a disfrutar de un techno alternativo junto con atmósferas expansivas. 

El que hace la apertura, “Richtet”, muestra un fino techno con un ritmo sostenido, en tanto emerge la trompeta de Tetsuroh Konishi que hace un interesante contrapunto melódico y envolvente a los beats de Tis. Además, se deslizan breves acordes de guitarra que le dan un halo de misterio a este track. Apoyado de notas graves de piano y de sintetizador ambiental con ribetes oscuros, en “Deutet“ los sonidos de la trompeta se tornan menos melódicos. En “Wahrt” se aprecian dos vertientes, la ambiental que se combina con beats solapados y que son capaces de mover el cuerpo ligeramente y la cabeza de lado a lado. En “Deutet (Deep Edit)”las atmósferas destilan oscuridad, evocando notas cinemáticas del piano como preludio a una escena de terror que se profundiza en el último track “Deutet (Synthese Remix)”, donde la remezcla que hace Tis tiene un carácter inquietante más marcado.

Este EP muestra la habilidad de estos músicos por crear una experiencia inmersiva a través de beats hipnóticos y envolventes atmósferas.

Since 2005, German Wurde Wolfgang Röttger under the moniker of Morgen Wurder has delighted us with his hypnotic music through ambient passages, inlays of folk and neo-classical forms, through six albums released on Off Rec., Time Released Sound and Frozen Light.

Röttger together with Christian Schmidt aka Tis, electronic musician and producer - who did the beats and arrangements of the Wurder’s atmospheres, offer their second collaboration for “Deutet EP”, featuring Japanese trumpeter, composer and improviser Tetsuroh Konishi.

This time Berlin label Jazz-Tech label releases a new album, inviting us to enjoy leftfield techno along with expansive atmospheres. The opener, “Richtet”, displays fine techno with a sustained pulsing rhythm, while Tetsuroh Konishi's trumpet emerges, making an interesting melodic and enveloping counterpoint to Tis's beats. In addition, brief guitar chords slip through, giving this track an aura of mystery. Supported by low notes of piano and ambient synth with dark rims, on “Deutet” the trumpet sounds become less melodic. On “Wahrt” there are two aspects, the ambient one that is combined with overlapping beats that are able to move the body slightly and the head from side to side. On “Deutet (Deep Edit)” the atmospheres exude darkness, evoking cinematic piano notes as a prelude to a horror scene that deepens in the last track “Deutet (Synthese Remix)”, where Tis's remix has a more marked disturbing character.

This EP shows the ability of these musicians to create an immersive experience through hypnotic beats and enveloping atmospheres.
