"Newfoundabout" es el séptimo álbum del compositor, músico, escritor y curador de Toronto Nick Storring. Para este disco utilizó instrumentos electromecánicos, acústicos, objetos, un poco de procesamiento electrónico y tratamientos. La propuesta de Storring reúne a la vanguardia y la electroacústica. 

La forma en como Storring manipula los sonidos y las técnicas de grabación que emplea, hace que cada uno de sus tracks tengan vida propia y sorprendan por las diferentes texturas y atmósferas que crea. 

"Frood" es uno de los tracks favoritos en que los instrumentos de cuerda y los objetos que utiliza Storring para generar ritmos, se despliegan con sublimes melodías.  

Este disco transita desde los ambientes vacilantes hasta las fuertes pulsaciones rítmicas, donde la percusión es su columna vertebral.

"Newfoundabout" is the seventh album by Toronto-based composer, musician, writer and curator Nick Storring. For this album he used electromechanical, acoustic instruments, objects, a bit of electronic processing and treatments. Storring's proposal brings together the avant-garde and electroacoustics.

The way in which Storring manipulates the sounds and the recording techniques that he uses, makes each of the tracks have a life of their own and uncanny different textures and atmospheres that he creates.

"Frood" is one of the favorite tracks in which the stringed instruments and objects that Storring uses to generate rhythms, unfold with sublime melodies.

This album goes from wavering environments to strong rhythmic beats, where percussion is the backbone of it.
