Staraya Derevnya is a psychedelic, kraut-folk collective based in London and Tel Aviv.

This collective of more than 10 artists performed live at Cafe Oto, an icon of London’s underground and worldwide as well, an opportunity in which they displayed the forcefulness of their rhythms, guitar riff, drum rolls, synthesizers, clarinet, and histrionic screams. A convulsive, noisy, playful amalgam, with dialogues, whispers, as if it were the music for a performance or a theatre play. With influences on psychedelia, kraut-folk Staraya Derevnya exudes energy and passion for creating chaotic climates.
